I'm a Senior Associate Attorney at CHA Law Group in Austin. There, I practice family law and criminal defense.
I'm licensed to practice law in both New York and Texas.
Before joining CHA Law Group, I was an Associate Attorney with two large New York City firms from 2008 to 2012.
In New York, I practiced commercial litigation in federal courts, representing large corporations and banks in business disputes.
Next, I spent about a year as a criminal defense attorney with the Family Court Trial Unit of the Public Defender's Office in the high-crime city of Wilmington, Delaware.
After returning home from a vacation to Tanzania in 2013, however, I decided to get a job living and working in Africa.
In 2013 and 2014, I spent a year living and working in Namibia, a mostly rural and agricultural country in southern Africa.
There, I was a high school science teacher, a freelance journalist, and a consultant for a NGO that worked with subsistence farmers to increase agricultural yields.
It was also in Namibia that I met my wife. She was born and raised in Austin.
After relocating with her to Austin in 2015, I was a criminal prosecutor with the Hays County District Attorney's Office.
I am now a Senior Associate Attorney at CHA Law Group where I practice family law and criminal defense.
